Resolved Question: What Object can be seen in the sky before dawn in southern california on 7/17?

Me and my friends were sky watching in Fullerton CA just before the sun broke the horizon on saturday and noticed a large stationary object hanging in the sky. It seemed to be reflecting the suns light off of it, but more interestingly it was much larger than even venus or mars would appear as. At first I thought it was the international space station but found out that it would have been moving quickly across the sky. I stared at it for some time and noticed that it appeared to be rotating (sort of like a space shuttle does). The sky was entirely blue and no other stars could be seen.
